The tournament's 2011 and 2012 finals were previously held at MA Chidambaram Stadium, also known as the Chepauk and home of the reigning champion Chennai Super Kings.
According to BCCI, the two qualifiers are scheduled for May 21 and 24, while the league matches will continue till May 19. On May 22, there will be an eliminator.
The BCCI's IPL managing committee unveiled the full schedule, which consists of 49 league matches as of right now and 21 league matches that were previously announced. In addition, a final, an eliminator, and two qualifiers have been announced.
In a press statement, the BCCI stated that an entertaining Qualifier 1 match will take place on May 21 at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium, followed by an equally compelling Eliminator match on May 22.
Chennai, the home ground of the defending champion Chennai Super Kings, will host the second qualifier and the grand final. The summit match will take place on Sunday, May 26, after the Qualifier 2 match, which will be played on May 24 between the loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of the Eliminator.
Prior to this, the BCCI had only made available the schedule for the first 21 matches through April 7 due to the timing of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections.
